Veterans Monument
In partnership with the Blackfalds & Area Historical Society and Veterans Affairs Canada, the Abbey Centre proudly displays a war monument to remember and honour our local war heroes. Built by artists Voyager Art & Tile Inc. from Red Deer, the monument provides both a quiet place of reflection and a location for annual Remembrance Day services.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
